We spent a great deal of time here in the past few months. My dad was sent here for hospice care. He had Alzheimer's. For the most part the staff was amazing. He was frequently called the cutest old man and told he had a great smile from multiple staff. There were wait times for certain treatments, but the staff was busy. The treatment was great, but what impressed me more was how my mom was treated. The job of the staff is to take care of my dad. But they were so incredibly caring towards my mom and family. Ridgecrest post acute is one of the best skilled nursing facilities in the valley. They're very attentive with care and always do right by their patients. Highly recommended.

Day 5, they have bent over backwards to take care of my husband. They have been kind, encouraging and attentive. I'm grateful!

If I could give negative stars I would. I'm posting this review for my 70 year old mother who arrived at this facility post-injury and after leaving Banner Thunderbird. I would not recommend this facility. The response time for the call button for anything my mom needed was between 10-25 minutes, IF anyone ever came to help. The facility left a wheelchair in her room and allowed my mom to use it to wheel herself, unassisted, into the bathroom when she needed assistance with a walker to get strength in her leg after a hip ... read more

Absolute worst experience. Wait. Almost. At least my father didn't die. An investigation needs to be done on this place for fraud. Patient neglect. Nurses and therapists are too notch and doing their best. Managers and admin need to grow a set and advocate for their patients.

Ignoring patients. Lying to family members. Oh yes, just great. My father has been there for 9 days. He is supposed to get therapy every day. He is scheduled every day. He's been twice. The last two days no one even showed up. They don't answer bell calls. Don't help get dressed, toilet , exercise, nothing. Shut it down for patient neglect. By all means milk the system and claim "well he is old".

Awful place!! Go here to die. Bathroom toilet had crap all over the bowl. Caregivers have NO clue as to what they're doing, and they NEVER check on the patients- and they don't care about the patients. If you care at all about your lived ones, DO NOT take them here!!!!!! I'd give this facility -10 stars if there was such a rating.

I was placed at Ridgecrest Post Acute for rehab. I was there 3 weeks and I stayed in my room with the door closed, as it was so noisy from elderly patients crying for help to nurses talking very loidly between themselves. Two different days my call button didn't work. I had to get out of bed go to nurses station to ask for pain meds. There were several CNA's that went the extra mile to help me.
