UNDERWHELMING property & people The outside property was difficult to get around due to a lack of handicap accessible ramps or cuts in the curbs. We also thought the property was overpriced for the small room & bathroom size and poorly furnished for comfort. The hotel was undergoing renovations and we needed a first floor room, due to my disabilities. The check-in process was very frustrating because they wanted to give us a 2nd floor room and didn't seem to care about me not being able to climb stairs to reach the room. We ... read more

Exceptional Went here from the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park for night. And loved it so much we stayed an extra night. Staff was very friendly, room was nice and clean, location perfect, very calm with plenty of birds, great pizza place nearby (they serve food here, looked great tho, we just had a beer here and was very nice).

Overall, had a great stay and would go back if ever in Ridgway again. Would have loved for the breakfast option to open a little sooner than 7:30am. Loved the location based on the activities we had planned for the weekend. Very easy drive into Ouray and other popular hiking spots in the area.
