Only can give 4 stars cause no pets are allowed which was a bummer but this place is beyond BEAUTIFUL, the cabins are great and the staff is top notch! Would recommend to anyone that doesn’t travel with their pets!

Hey Kandace! So sorry you couldn't bring your pet. Please let me explain, so you will understand that we would love to have pets! We would rather have them as they are a huge part of our lives, also. We did try to have pets the first year, and we asked for our guests to keep them kenneled while in cabin, but a lot didn't and they scratched up doors, hair was everywhere (drawers, refrigerators, mattresses,etc.) and our 5 hour turnover time was not conducive when it would take 2 hours for one cabin. Great family owned frio river resort. Cabin patios over looking a section of the river that is damned up. Excellent top of the line cabins! Owners are very respectful and responsible. They keep the place clean and looking good! We had our wedding there and it couldn’t have been better!!! We will definitely be going back!!

BEAUTIFUL location. The cabins are amazing, and the staff and owners are the sweetest people. Perfect place for families because you have a little slice of the Frio all to yourself. Highly recommend it.

Amazing recharging destination! 2 legs of the 3 Twisted Three Sisters CONQUERED... cant wait to go be blessed by the third!
Great place to stay in the Texas Hill Country. The town of Leakey is near by with places to shop and eat. The cabin has a full kitchen to cook as desired and a grill right outside your door. Very upscale cabin and nice areas to relax both on the river and around the cabin. Will stay again.
