We ordered over $11,000. dollars of carpet and tile from the Hamilton Store. We were told that if we paid an additional $700.00 carpet layers would remove the furniture from the rooms and we wouldn't have to do that. Told that we would have a "crew" of layers arrive to complete the job in one day as it was most of the house. Two men showed up and did not speak any English. Rite Rug’s installation left us with unlevel floors that are now cracking and splitting I wish I could attach pictures this would save a lot of time. Their product does not perform it’s overpriced and the installations looks terrible. This is from an install in December 2019 that now has the flooring splitting for a couple months or one month before COVID. Both the flooring we ordered and the customer service were less than acceptable. We purchased commercial grade LVT which scratched in several places the first week we had it. One area that was scratch was done when they installed it. I had cheap linoleum previously which was in place for 7 years and never scratched. All the furniture had pads prior to having the new floor installed. Customer service took weeks to get back with us. We purchased a **** **** and werr told to go to rite rug to make our selection of carpet. They sold us on a $2500 upgrade and ensured us the quality was much better and carpet would last about 10 years. The carpet always felt as if we were walking on hard floor and 6 months in i had tgem come out to make sure we got the upgraded padding and carpet because it was showing wear. BUYER BEWARE! The attitudes, customer service and business practices of this company are deplorable. We decided to use this company when we were about to sell our home to fix our kitchen floor. Our realtor suggested them for speed and for the fact that we would get a realtor discount. The rest is downhill from there. I just had approximately $8,000 worth of flooring installed on Oct 2 & 3. The carpeting looks nice, but the vinyl flooring is not good. I have contacted them for repair and even stopped payment on the vinyl portion of the invoice. Six weeks later, my floor is still a mess. The vinyl does not go to the wall as there is a gap. The basboard isn't completed all the way around and has big globs of caulking stuck on the outside in the corners. I am sorry I had these people do the work. We just recently bought carpet and vinyl wood flooring from Riterug and we love the carpet and flooring both. The installers were polite and professional and got the job done in the allotted time. Our problem came when they left and we started looking around at our new flooring and noticed scratches to our baseboards. Upon further inspection we came up with a total of about 21 scratches to the baseboards. Then looking up the walls we also noticed 3 areas where they had punctured the drywall. While they did a decent job on the tilework they left without putting the toilet back in place, the trim work stacked in the shower and a mess that took a couple of hours to clean up. The drive was left in a mess. It and the road in front of our house will have to be power washed. I have left 3 messages yet none return calls.
