I had a floor installed last week. Store manager came and measured. I learned after I paid for the job, that they would not move the piano on wheels, which the manager saw when he measured. They refunded the part the area that could not be installed. I must say, the men who installed did a wonderful job, HOWEVER the base board that was removed during the installation was not replaced. Communication to request attention to the matter has been ignored. So disappointed. I’ve heard Rite Rug commercials since I was a child.... read more

Several boxes of flooring were delivered damaged, 10 boxes out of the total order of 45, some of which were not even in a box but loose flooring planks wrapped in duct tape. In addition, rite rug was supposed to let me know when the flooring was delivered to my project site, which they failed to, resulting in the flooring being left outside for almost 48 hours. I’m still working with rite rug on either getting the defective boxes replaced or getting the whole order refunded.

The delivery process was a nightmare. We were clear this was going to a residential location…the entire order was placed on one pallet. When they scheduled the first delivery, they couldn’t lift it because the load was heavier than their pallet jack. They took it back with the instructions to repack the order onto two pallets. They came back out about a week later and the order was still on one pallet.
