Pleased with Dr Pontasch, except with my last exam at this place. My insurance did not cover the entire cost of a basic screening exam and consequently I was billed a portion of the cost. My spouse had the same screening exam scheduled along side mine, each of us was in the examining room no more than 15-20 min. They recommended a blue light procedure for me and I asked them to find out if it was covered by my insurance. I was told that it was covered except my $35 copay, which I paid on the day of the procedure. A week later I was billed an additional $78 and when I questioned it, I was told that they were informed by my insurance that there would be a 20% co-insurance but they failed to tell me that.
