Fourth year in a row tubing with River Girl. Be sure to rent a bamboo poll to help you navigate around rocks and trees.
I would definitely wear water shoes (or other closed toe shoes with an ankle strap) - it makes getting in and out so much easier than wearing flip flops or open-back sandals. Also, remember that it is an adventure and to enjoy yourself, no matter if it starts pouring on you halfway down the river! Keep telling yourself that the weather just makes it an exciting adventure! ;)
Wonderful trip!!
Everyone there is very friendly, the cost is great. We had a great time, there is a short walk back from the river, they do not pick you up from the trip they just drop you off upstream. Could be a problem for someone with difficulty walking!
Great family outing with 6 year olds to senior adults and 11 others in between.

Staff is very friendly and efficient and we had a great time... tubes are comfy with headrest and the all-important beer cooler never tipped over
It is really shallow water.. and very slow. Good for a lazy day but not a wild ride. Perfect for little ones
