Dr. Hammond missed my cervical cancer when I first went in showing symptoms. Then, after I was diagnosed when the symptoms got worse, she shared her cell phone number with me so I could be in touch with any questions since I was so scared. She eventually started ignoring my texts, which sadly only made me think realized she messed up. She made it hard for me to trust doctors, but she also showed me that I always need to advocate for my health and ask LOTS of questions.
