I left feeling humiliated and defeated. I was treated with contempt and impatience because I cannot understand him. I was asked “what is your problem” I went home in tears. No I will not be going back. If I have to go out of state to see a cancer Dr. then so be it. I have been through hell and back and I will not be treated in this manner.
I have a very rare condition that causes debilitating fatigue, like days in bed to recover from a short activity. The radiation fatigue was so bad it impacted my ability to breathe and I nearly died, so I had to stop treatment. Office waited was informed. I was referred to the Rocky Mountain Oncology Center for an Axumin Pet Scan for prostate cancer. Dr. Purviance was listed on my BCBS FEP billing statement. I never actually met Dr. Purviance. I only met the technician who performed the scan.
