So our preferred severs were not working....that's ok, Monica the hostess took very good care of us from selecting the server to checking on us throughout our visit, she even joined for the birthday dessert presentation. Eric, our server didn't miss a beat and may haveveven replaced one of favorites! Kudos to both Monica and Eric. Jeff the manager was as lovely as ever Monica by far salvaged out birthday celebration!

Overall, Roxy was average this time... maybe because it was Mother's Day. As always, Roxy is a bit on the high side price wise. Ribeye steaks were thin and tough; however, filet and salmon were great. Sides were average to slightly above. Waiter was excellent.

Food portion and only offering 1- side was not good. The dish is very expensive as is.. and only having one side was definitely a deal breaker. Meals that expensive usually come with a salad and at least 2- sides. Not a satisfying meal at at.

Great meal. The NY steak with the shoestring fries and creamed spinach is amazingly delicious. Staff, including waiter Dane, are all first rate. One of the best restaurants in Reno.
