We dined here this past Friday night, the 24th, Black Friday. Good dinner! Food was well executed. We love their bread service. The house-made bacon cheddar loaf is delicious! We started with the crab cake, very tasty with plenty of crab. For entrees, I went with the filet Mignon with Bearnaise sauce and a loaded baked potato. Excellent food, wine and service. Very much appreciated having a sommelier come to our table, serve and discuss our wine selections. Eric our waiter was the best!
A wonderful time had by all. Debra was our server. She was great! She anticipated all of our needs! We also had a lovely chat who was celebrating his 20 year anniversary of working at the Eldorado. I can see why he's been there for so long. The place is great! 10 out of 10! Can't wait to go back. Everyone should try the carrots!
We usually love Roxy, and have been going for years for special occasions and date nights. This last experience, for my husband's 60th, was disappointing. Their menu has changed, it is now VERY expensive, and the food was just not good. Meals had been sitting in the pass too long. Steaks were dried out and baked potato skins were so tough, they were difficult to cut with a steak knife. Ordered smoked old fashioneds at $35 each, and they just tasted like strong bourbon. Outstanding Food. Steak was prepared perfectly. Started with the Classic Mushroom Ravioli and Caesar Salad. Albert is the best waiter in the world. The combination of Personalized Service, Quality Food, and Beautiful Restaurant make this place very special.
