Will never go back there again. RUDE receptionist go to Indy emergency vet they say because they work for a damn vets office and doesn’t have to pay a moths wages to get anything done. Piss poor young people do not have any respect these days.
Zero stars!! Most inhumane veterinary office ever. They deleted my first comment about how they lied about the sign in time then turned away an elderly pet who was suffering and needed euthania. I guess they don't want people knowing the truth about how they don't give a crap about animals at all. They also caused a cat to lose its eyesight by not properly diagnosing. This office only cares about money and has no care for the animal/customers they are serving!!!
No one deserves to be called a liar. I called twice more than 24 hrs in advance for questions to be answered no one returned my call. I missed sign up by a few minutes, I did get my questions answered in person. Very pricey $$$$$ But the receptionist piped up saying I did get a call. I left but I stopped to check out my phone and I did in fact return to show her my phone and let her know I never received a call she lets me know she didn’t make the call but was piping off that someone else made the call. Tried showing her my ... read more
We took my dog there yesterday for diarrhea and vomiting. He seemed to be pretty sick. They did an Xray and blood work, telling us he had swallowed something and needed an invasive surgery in Indy immediately. The vet made it sound like my dog was on his deathbed. We rushed him to Indy where we had to wait 8 hours for them to redo the Xray because the one from Royer was so inconclusive, wasting precious time if he did have an obstruction. He didn't have an obstruction, only a viral infection that had gotten severe. We ended ... read more
This was my first and last experience ever with royer. We had a very sick dog and called royer, we were told that if we made it there by 530 we would be seen. We were there by 515 and were then told we would not be seen as a vet wasn't there but the waiting room was full of dogs. This vet lacked respect and empathy. I will never recommend them.
We had our first, and only, experience with Royer Veterinary Services this evening. We drove an hour to get there, and upon arrival we were told they could not see our sick dog after 5 PM because the vet was gone for the day. We were essentially told that no one could have told us that and out of 30 employees, they have no idea who could have told us that. Okay, fine - miscommunication. But I would love to know who sees animals past 5 PM, because the signage on the building says open until 7 PM and there were other animals w... read more
Their care sucks. It's all about making money, not your pets health.
They treated us well during the visit, diagnosed my dog right away with CHF, and put him on medications. They initially over charged me for his medications, which they rectified shortly after, and applied that to his next set of meds. I've been ordering through Chewy, because its $40 cheaper a month. The first time I ordered through Chewy, they accepted it next day. Now, I ordered his medications on the 26th, and theyve yet to accept it. I've personally called the office 3 times, Chewy has sent out multiple emails, and now t... read more
Took my dog in to find out why he suddenly started to pee on the floors, was told it was because he was old. They did not run any test in him. 3 weeks later had to put him to sleep because he had DKA. Had they tested him and listened to me he would still be alive today!!
