Chef prepares food very well. Their drink selection is vast and would provide everyone good options. Service was very good. Shout out to Chevelle.

Good meal. Large portions. Atmosphere so so. Lots of casually dressed (shorts and ball caps). Pricey.

Hands down the best meal we’ve had in a long time. First bites to last, everything was just delicious. Get their homemade apple pie. It’s to die for.
The location and ambiance is nice being right on 8th Ave in the heart of downtown. The food was good, we had no complaints. The menu is a little light not offering a chicken dish but the steak we ordered was great and cooked to our liking. The restaurant was not full and we were there at a peak time of 6pm on a Sunday but the service is where the restaurant really packed. It was very slow on all aspects. Drink order, food order and trying to get the bill at the end was all very very slow.
Saltlik is simply amazing. The service was fantastic the food was insane and the prices were not too bad considering it was the last weekend of the Stampede and this is one of the best steakhouse in Calgary. The NY Strip loin I ordered came as requested and pretty quickly (even though we were told the kitchen was a bit backed up). Our server was prompt with our drink order and really knowledgeable about the entire menu. First time dining here and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. Booked through Open Table after reading through reviews of downtown restaurants. Our server was the amazing Justin! We can't speak highly enough of his service. He provided great recommendations on steaks and wine and the food was outstanding! Probably the best ribeye I've ever had!
