Overall, the dining experience was "ok". 6 of us dined and we all had steaks. 2 of the 6 steaks had issues... My co-worker ordered a medium rare filet and cut into it and it was "very" rare. I would expect a 'do-over' on a new steak and not bring back 2 chunks of re-heated meat. Bad form IMHO! I ordered a rib-eye and asked for the ($3.00) Saltlik specialty bbq sauce and they forgot it and then just brought a little cup after the fact... so much for caramelizing the bbq sauce. Great cuts & perfectly done steaks, great selection is sides, would benefit from a larger cocktail list 😊 Overall it’s my favourite steak house in Calgary!
Everything was perfect .... until it wasn't. Our sommelier recommended the perfect wine. We loved it. He asked us if we wanted another bottle and we declined .... then he returned again with the bottle in hand and caught us off guard with it...we didnt want it but we somehow accepted it and then left with a bad taste in our mouth from the experience. Fabulous fun and delicious night ending with 7 people still talking about that one moment .... with regret. I would recommend again ... I really do love the saltlik.
Wonderful dining experience again at Saltlik. Staff are always attentive and food is consistently good, and wine list is adequate with decent pricing. Have been multiple times and never disappointed.
Amazing! The Sablefish dish is extreeeemely delicious and the Kobe Fries are salty goodness, totally worth the calories. Our server was great too!
Chicken sandwich was good. Steak was fridge level cold for a medium rare. Had to send it back and they re did it. Manager took care of the steak meal. Over all it was ok. Was definitely expecting it to be amazing.
