The service was above and beyond expectations (and we're foodies, so it's pretty high), and the food was even better.
The excellent food (as expected, the steaks were fabulous) and abundant staff, all of whom were knowledgeable, friendly, and seemed to share their responsibilities and tables with grace, made this a standout meal on our most recent trip to Calgary.
Its a good restaurant. Happy to have done it once.

The food was very good but the stand-out was the servcie. In a town where serivce can be hit and miss, Saltlik was a masterclass in how service can be! Thank you.
Appetizers were alright. The mains were a disaster- too salty or overcooked food .. our server was really nice though.
Every visit is always delicious and the service is outstanding. Tried a new menu item and it did not disappoint. This restaurant is always a great choice when visiting the city
My friend and I had the Wagyu carpaccio with arugula side salads. Both were good, except the carpaccio had a bit too much aioli and the salad too much Caesar dressing. The service was slow, especially considering that there were only half a dozen tables with diners. However, Saltlik just recently opened for Saturday lunch, so we hope the service will improve for the tourist season. Despite these shortcomings, we will return.
