I went to see Dr. Shahrokh and he was very nice. It's hard after seeing the same dentist (Dr Nelson) for over 20 years but change is inevitable. The office looks upgraded and the service was terrific.
First time in my life the dentist pierced my tongue while working on my teeth. They had to put gauze in my mouth to help stop the bleeding. They also tried to upsell me to have another cap replaced while I was there. They also gave me a bill for over $250 that they said was not covered by my insurance. I have never paid for any dental work, my insurance covered everything. I'm surprised they didn't charge me to park in their parking lot.
Hi everyone! I want to share a recent experience I had, with the community, in hopes that it does not happen to anyone else. I am on the spectrum, and unfortunately sometimes get taken advantage of because of this. Dr. Babak Shahrokh, at San Marcos Dental Studio, filed a fraudulent claim for work he did not perform, and was paid by my insurance company. Alright guys, if anyone is looking for a family dentist in North County, do not go to San Marcos Dental Studio off of Rancho Santa Fe. I went in just for a cleaning today and the whole thing was completely shady. I never received a copy of what I signed for after I told them " Hey you guys by law have to provide me with a copy ".They were trying to force me to do this treatment for my gums.
