Caitlin and her team were great about trying to get everything done as quickly as possible. My criticism would be: Get a little more organized and “definitive” answers before asking for something. For example, ask for paperwork and specify format needed. I would be asked for 30 documents and 10 weren’t good enough b/c of this or that. Notarizing documents remotely was a pain too. I guess it is not commonly done, but I was told it would be “easy”. It was not. Many trips to the bank were wasted.
I had a great experience working w/ Caitlin and Christy. They explained all my options and keep me informed every step of the way. Great job ladies, thanks for everything.

VanDyk mortgage really goes above and beyond. Their in-depth knowledge of the mortgage process assured a smooth closing. My latest transaction with VanDyk was a loan on one of my listings. The buyer had been unable to identify a lender that could make this unique loan happen. Upon our suggestion the buyer's agent convinced her buyer to work with VanDyk, who closed the loan within the time frame promised and allowed my seller to move forward with the purchase of their next home. After being denied a mortgage loan twice I was discourage I was going to get it. My Realtor recommended Caitlin VanDik from VanDik Mortgage and in less than 3 weeks I was signing the closing documents. Caitlin and Christy helped me from the beginning and asked for all the necessary documents. They were very helpful, concise and fast! They worked with me 24/7. I’m very helpful I met them and I would recommend them to anybody. I’m also very happy with the interest rate they got me.
