Get directionsWonderful place! Love the staff. They’re very caring!
The care given at the Schenectady Center is nothing short of neglect! If you care about you loved one do not send them here, they will not receive the care they deserve.
Poor services. All talk. Don’t follow through with anything. Huge lack of communication among the staff when it comes to care plans for residents. 45+ minutes of waiting for an aid to help my grandpa with the restroom. Grateful he didn’t get hurt while in their lack of care. Discharged without everything set up for home services. Staff rude on the phone if you can actually reach someone other than the receptionist.
Run fast and don’t look back . All they care about is being on the phone- horrible to families , violation of basic human rights is common and acceptable. How about HIPPA violations, making families cry, an employee told me I was disrespectful and she better walk away before it gets out of hand. David Singer has run this place into the ground. He and his bosses only care about the bottom line, cutting corners and costs wherever possible. You might have good lawyers but you definitely don't have a good conscience. Shame on you Dave Singer. Shame
After a long year of being separated from my grandmother due to the pandemic her family is finally able to see her and spend time with her. Today my mom was there visiting my grandmother minding her own business, nobody else was waiting to come in to see her and an aid came up to her and told her she had to leave, she can only be there for a half hour. So my mom had to leave and my grandmother kept saying don’t leave me I want you to stay. Are you kidding me!!! These poor residents and their families need to be together!
Schenectady center needs to have consistency with the employees. They need to keep certain employees with the dementia patients and make sure that they are certified CNA not the BS UAs that Cuomo authorized during the pandemic. They need to buy and upgrade furniture for the residents. Kenny Rozenberg should reinvest in the centers he owns and stop buying airlines for his kid. I would not recommend this facility. This facility is basically running a money laundry business . Every is connected from the laundry compan... read more
Yea if I could I would give this place negative stars when family members have to do the work the staff suppose to be doing but there to lazy playing on there phones and only there to collect a paycheck.
They should be embarrassed to serve what they call food.
