I have been a customer for 20 plus years and just as of recent my rent went up (again) and over $3 I have been charged a total of $46 in fees.. although my checks have been cashed. In the past, I would get a phone call or a letter in the mail with my check returned (not the case this time) that they couldn't cash my check unless they had the full amount.
