We have taken our 8 month old puppy to Shagbark for doggy day care, grooming, and training. Cathi, the trainer has been extremely helpful with our stubborn little Maggie. We are very satisfied with the grooming services. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful and Maggie loves doggy daycare when she goes.

Business response:

Thanks, Bev! You and Chip are doing great work with Maggie!

My puppy Pepsi had never been boarded before..I was extremely nervous. But after the care that Pepsi received, I would definitely go to Shag Bark again. The facility was clean and staff was very pleasant. The pictures they post of your pet gives relief..Highly recommended to everyone!!!

We enrolled our 10 month old puppy Kelso in their Lodge and Learn program for 2 weeks and are so impressed with the results. He returned to us as a completely new dog. It was well worth the money. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and caring. Kelso even seemed to miss Shag Bark when we took him home. We would highly recommend lodging and/or training at Shag Bark!

Business response:

Thank you, Dayna! Kelso's a great student and I miss him!

Could not be happier with the THREE training classes Charley attended over the past 6 months. Cathi is consistently patient and thorough with each dog. Charley now is a Canine Good Citizen, the groundwork necessary to go on to Therapy Dog training. Cathi's knowledge of 'the dog world' is invaluable. Never forget tho...the handler is being trained more than the dog!!! We look forward to doing business again with Shag Bark.

Business response:

Thanks for your wonderful words, Diane! It's been a real treat working with you and Charley! Keep me posted on the therapy work.

Ramsey loves Doggy Daycare at Shag Bark. They have been a life saver as I am home recovering from knee surgery, I don't have to worry about walking Ramey.

Business response:

Thank you for the kind words!! We love Ramsey! He's so cute!

I have been bringing my dog Yotta there since she was 8 weeks old. She is now 13 months old (my how they grow so fast). She wakes up in the morning and first words out of her mouth is bark. I turn to her and say 'Do you mean Shagbark'? Overwhelmed with joy, she runs to the door and wags her tail and stares at me until I take her in the car. So, every morning away we go to Shagbark. LOVE LOVE LOVE it there. The people are nice, they clean up when I go potty, sometimes clean my ears when they get dirty, and wipe my eye if it i... read more
