Everyone was professional and respectful of my situation and needs. Especially at the end, every effort was made to close my settlement and deposit the money just before Christmas, which was within a short window of time given that most businesses are in holiday mode. When I first realized I was in a situation where I felt helpless, lost and anxious I knew I needed professional help. After the first meeting, I felt like I finally had someone who was going to fight for me. I was being treated unfairly, and discriminated against because of the stigma around mental health.
