Dr. Lipner is the consummate professional. She inspires confidence. Very thorough, knowledgeable, and spends as much time as needed to answer all your questions. She is genuinely kind and that is so hard to find in a doctor these days. I feel very fortunate to have found her; she has my highest recommendation.
Dr Lipner was a referral of a prominent dermatologist. Issue was a discolored/cracking thumbnail, cause unknown. Regular dermatologist's specialist recommended biopsy, but warned of likely permanent nail/nail bed damage. Dr Lipner's approach was investigation/non-invasive treatment for a few months. Shari Lipner has a reputation for being the best in her field. I can see why. (I’ve heard other dermatologists speak of her with a kind of awe). I came to her with an issue that had resisted treatment prescribed by various professionals over years. We tried one medication, which I had heard of, and when that had no effect she prescribed a different medication which I had never heard of. Within a month the nail issues were almost gone. Very professional, very knowledgeable and very helpful.
If you have an issue with your nails, Dr. Lipner is the person to see. Great doctor. Current and up to date. Efficient and friendly.
