I am/was a resident of this facility The rooms were pleasant--lots of natural light. The staff was kind and patient. Food was fine. Particularly impressed by the therapy staff. When I was admitted I couldn't walk or even stand. It took a while but with their help, support, patience and kindness I got to the point where I could function, seated to standing and walking (with a walker). I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mother needed a place to recover after a hospital stay and was moved to Sherwood. First, I was pleasantly surprised at the beauty and cleanliness of the facility. I think they have undergone renovation and the rooms are beautiful. The staff is so kind, attentive, and patient with my mom who has dementia. The food was surprisingly good. It seemed homemade instead of the typical awful hospital food. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Management was amazing from start to finish while my dad stayed here. Super grateful to the nursing staff for taking such good care of my dad. He loved the food as well!

I visited this facility I was welcomed as soon as I walked through the doors, smiling faces and positive energy all around. The staff was absolutely incredible. The few questions I had they had the answers to them. Felt as if they offered so many amenities for my loved one and I could also see that the residence there enjoyed the facility as well. highly recommend just visiting the facility, if you don’t like the facility then it’s one more you can cross off your list, but I know you will enjoy this facility! I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My significant other is actually in Windsor Terrace of Westlake Village right now. He needed nursing care because he has dementia and cannot remember what to take, and if he doesn’t have that nursing care, he ends up in the hospital. The service is not excellent but good. He does not have any problem; he gets his meds and his food, and that keeps him very stable. The staff is good. It was almost impossible to get anyone to answer the call button and sometimes they would just turn it off and say they would be right back. The care was non existent, no compassion, one hid in the corner of her room so she didn’t have to work. Always complaining of being short staffed. I am/was a resident of this facility I would give this place a 0 star if possible but it’s not how reviews works. I don’t know where to start with what is wrong with this place. First Sherwood Oaks had a higher rating than our other possible choice. Not sure how that could have happened. This place was a disaster. They would not respond to call buttons.
