The nurse was great nothing against her! The doctor ran 35 minutes past my appointment time. She could have been prompt and told the nurse she was running late so I was at least made aware but I wasn’t. Then she was annoyed that I was frustrated with her and was in no hurry after I told her I had to be at work in 30 minutes. Would not come back!

At my previous annual visit I was told that to lose weight I needed to adjust my daily lunch (a sandwich) to a salad “and ditch bread”. At this point in time I was exercising 6 days and week and following a largely plant based diet but I had an IUD. At my next visit to take out my IUD the same physician said I had gained 30 pounds and that I again needed to eat salads, no mention of weight gain that can be caused by IUD’s. I would not recommend Simmonds, Martin and Helmbrect to anyone. After four phone calls trying to follow up with a concern, I never received a call back. Each time, I would speak with the office or advice nurse and they would apologize for Janice, the nurse practitioner not getting back to me and that they would make sure I would receive a call back immediately. To this day, no one has contacted me about my concern. I have never received such unprofessional and poor care from any doctor and will be changing practices.
The services are great there. But the billing department is awful and unwilling to work with new insurances if you end up with one that's not on their list. Very unfriendly, curt, and unhelpul to patients trying to navigate a situation like this . They will not even consider doing anything for your if it means what they think is extra work for them. A bunch of people in a billing office deciding your care. Disgusting.
