This is the 3rd year I have used this company and will not go back. Besides the fact that they double book your procedures (Mammogram/ Ultrasound) and make you wait more than 1.5 hours for your appointment, their BILLING is ATROCIOUS!They tell you at your appointment what they think you owe (in my case $400), which 3 years running has never been right. U called SimonMed customer service to make an appointment yesterday. They gave me an appointment for today Tuesday 10/05/2021 at ***** pm on ***** 1 office on **************** ***** **. And they did confirm the appointment by text message yesterday and today. When I went there. At 01:00 pm they have a line no 6 feet between people and people sitting no 6 feet from 3ach other very unsafe. This is a tough review because we actually really like SMIL but after the events today, we really felt like we needed to say something. My wife needed a follow-up ultrasound of her breast. We didn't use the online scheduling and decided to call to make the appointment. The lady my wife spoke with was, I'm sorry but no other way to say it, just plain dumb. Billing here is ridiculous! I got a scan done in May. The front desk made me pay over $900 as they stated they ran my insurance and it was part of my deductible. Spoke to my insurance shortly after and stated that was incorrect and should have only been billed for $150. Since June, Ive been waiting for a refund! Spoke to numerous billing agents, ********* ****** **** and have just gotten the run around with each of them telling me a different reason as to why the investigation is taking so long! I have used Simon Med Imaging for a while now My last CT was read wrong by their Radiologist According to my Lung Doctor ***** was definitely something at the bottom lobes of both my lungs I find this very disturbing. How do I ************ or not my other scans and Mamo's have been read correctly

Think twice before using Simon Med off of Desert Ridge.I called a local number to make an appointment but was transferred outside of *****************. After setting the appointment for the Desert Ridge location, I asked the scheduler if I needed to fast prior to my appointment. They said that it was not necessary based on the procedure that I was having done. On the day of the image, my wife called to double-check. Simonmed is a bully. I was told I had 100% coverage for my scan. On day of the scan SMI told me I owed $150.00 for a co-pay. I paid it without thought. A few weeks later I recieved a message that I owed an additional $850 to SMI. I logged onto my account and noticed they did not have my insurance information accurate. I called and a representative fixed my insurance information and then told me to wait 45 days for the claim to be reprocessed. This place is terrible, my wife and I are expecting and this is our first ultrasound, not like they are doing open heart surgery or anything and my wife called ahead to make sure I could come with her and the girl at the front desk said no problem. So I took half a day from work to go, drove 45 minutes out of the way (it's Apache Junction you know..) and once on site we waited for her turn. I do not know what is going on with this company but to say the least they are headed down a path of no return. I had an appointment in the Phoenix area on 5/20/2021 for a ct scan with contrast. I was told the amount of my copay would be $276 which I paid immediately. I was so uncomfortable I didn't question the amount until the next day. My opinion is they do this type of tactics knowing the patient is in pain. I called my insurance company, and was told it should have been $125 copay.
