I am a long term cyclist. I ride for health and to benefit charities like the MS Society. I put in somewhere around 2,000 miles a year. In early 2018 I went to see Dr. Slaughter for a balloon sinuplasty surgery. Since then I have noticed a marked improvement in my breathing while riding, which has translated to lower maximum heart rates while climbing.
