If I could give Skippack Animal hospital zero stars, I would. My dog, Bailey has been under their care for 2 years. Overall we were happy up until the past few weeks. Bailey was diabetic and took insulin. In September his sugar levels were elevated and his insulin level was increased by 1 iu. We were supposed to follow up in 6 weeks but family issues came up and we couldn’t get him in. On December 7th we placed an order with Chewy for bailey’s insulin. I took our German Shepherd in for a broken canine. They sent him home so messed up from anesthesia, that he could barely walk. The stitches came out within a day, and ended up infected. I noticed his gums were green and his breath was rancid late Friday night. Called the next morning to let them know, but they were closed, so I left a message. By Monday morning he was throwing up. I am shocked by the number of good reviews this vet has. Let me first say, the techs are wonderful. But my experience with Dr Evans was so bad that I have warned every person I know with a pet in this area to not go to her. And I have spoken with several people who had a similar experience to mine. My dog was not eating after a small eye surgery and teeth cleaning. She came in and jumped up on the counter to sit and said what do you want to do?
