Took my partner for a meal to celebrate his birthday - the food was excellent and we both highly recommend the steak. The staff were efficient and ensured we had everything we required. From start to finish this still remains my favourite place to enjoy a meal in London!
The best meat in London ... and it's a very nice place..
Food was excellent - burger, steak, Caesar salad and fries, were all a level above the normal The best was definitely last - the S'mores sharing dessert was epic!! If you like S'mores, you will LOVE this, really made the meal special. The additional Birthday dessert plate, with candle was a really lovely touch. The steak was very fatty which definitely isn’t the norm as it’s my favourite place for a steak Ordered the tomahawk at 120 pound highlighted how fatty the cut was and was given a 10 percent discount gesture ie 12 pound which was probably even more disappointing than the cut itself .. I’ve eaten many times at smith’s and had the tomahawk but this was by far the worse Oh and how I miss the service from Alberto :(
My boyfriend and I dined here last night. The restaurant was beautiful and we were really well looked after. The steaks were cooked to perfection (although a bit on the pricey side) definitely worth it. We had a lovely server whose name I didn't get but we ate at 7:30pm and were sat at a window seat at the back. The only comment I would make is the staff even though they were amazing I think were a bit overworked as they seemed to be dashing from table to table and seemed a bit scatty. Beautiful restaurant, attentive staff and fabulous food. A touch on the pricy side however wouldn’t put me off going again.
