The restaurant were told it was a birthday but didn’t do anything special, shame as most restaurants do something
Beautiful decor, really friendly service, food and cocktails were delicious, obviously it’s pricey but was completely worth it for a special meal. We will definitely be back again.
Great for usda prime steaks with the space and comfort expected, would be good if the sides were us style portions as they are small

Excellent food and service,the prices may be slightly higher than other restaurants but it was excellent value
Good vibe at S&W of an early, rather drab London evening, with the interior lights & decor providing a mood lift. Shrimp in the cocktail maybe a touch less tasty than the best I recall, hence the mark down to 4 stars, but the sauces redeemed it fully. T-Bone steak very flavoursome; I was picking the bone. Great cocktails natch. Outstanding ice cream & sorbet: the lemon meringue- substituted on the evening for clotted cream - was heavenly. And Springbank 10 year old singlr malt at a reasonable price. lovely place to eat, gorgeous decor very art nouveau. Staff are attentive and the food and wine is excellent. great pre or post theatre dinner
