Packed for Thanksgiving so service and attention not up to their usual high standards Food was as always of a high standard
Food is still excellent, particularly a succulent rib-eye steak, but prices seem to have increased markedly since our last visit a few years ago. Although service was rather hit and miss on this occasion, staff were all friendly and professional if overstretched at times, and a delayed cocktail order was comped without asking. The deco basement room and bar are wonderful.
London West End restaurant prices are very high and S&W is no exception. Food and service was superb. Restaurant has a great atmosphere and staff are professional and attentive.

Great food and service. Note though that the brunch menu doesn’t really offer a saving, if we’d taken the same starter and main from the a la carte menu it would have been a fraction cheaper. I generally feel as though S&W got a bit pricey.

Great food, cocktails and wine. The steaks are the best about. Disappointed on service. We ordered cocktails and wine at the start, they came together and the waiter started pouring the wine before the starters arrived and before we'd even started our cocktails. We didnt get asked if everything during the meal was ok and they tried to charge for an extra starter. It did seem very busy though. We've been before but service not so good this time.
