We went to Smith & Wollensky to celebrate our marriage with friends. We wanted a restaurant that was central, easily booked, could accommodate parties of 12, and had a menu we would enjoy. It definitely delivered in these ways. The food was tasty and fantastic, and the atmosphere was beautiful and exactly as expected. The staff were friendly and the service was professional. My family and I spent a wonderful afternoon at the restaurant. Everything about the experience was exceptional...The service, the food and the ambience. The best part was the unique feeling of being made to feel welcome and enjoy the occasion at our leisure, without feeling any pressure to 'hurry along' We would highly recommend and will be returning the moment that we can dream up another cause for celebration.
Wonderful food, I had a simple salmon which was so beautifully done. All the sides were great and the starters. Staff were wonderful and drinks were great too. Really liked the desert cocktails, would recommend those but not if you are having pudding too!
Steak slightly overcooked but otherwise excellent.
None of us had eaten here before so used Tripadvisor and OpenTable to search a suitable venue. We hit gold, superb from start to finish, the brunch menu was outstanding value and quality, service attentive and professional, they knew each course to serve by person for 10 of us. Wonderful experience

Steaks were excellent. However, service was a little patchy
The restaurant has a lovely decor and is an off the beaten track location; table spacing was genereous. Food was delicious - we selected from the set menu for our pre theatre dinner. We did not try any of S&W's signature steaks, so cannot comment on theirquality.
