Lovely staff, great food, nice atmosphere. We were celebrating a birthday and the staff were very nice and celebrated with us.
Not being there before we didn’t k ow what to expect . Food seemed quite expensive so another time I think we would choose from the set menu.
It's very expensive but so are all such places and this is the most reliably good of them in London, going by my (wide but not exhaustive) experience. Admittedly you do not have to spend as much from the excellent wine list as I did on this occasion - they have very competent house wine and by-the-glass choices. We visited on an Open Table offer, which was great value. The steak was perfectly cooked and the best I have had in London for a long time. Lovely unobtrusive service from friendly staff who knew what they were doing. Way better than Hawksmoor or Gaucho!
The wagyu beef is the best, I came long way to try it out and it was well worth it.
Wonderful and personal service - great recommendations from the staff. Oysters were pricey but beautiful, mac and cheese was to die for, steak was lovely though expensive. Nice for a special occasion.

We were celebrating multiple occasions and Roland went completely above and beyond to make our meal extremely special. We haven’t had service as good as this in absolutely ages and it was fantastic, he is a credit to the restaurant and all of our party of 6 can’t wait to come back again!
