A good American-style high-brow steakhouse, lovely decor and nice ambience. A little disappointing that they had run out of lobster by 7.30pm on a Friday night. Enjoyed my steak though, and cooked nicely to my liking. Final bill was quite expensive compared to other similar steakhouses in London, which is why I've scored it slightly lower on value for money.
Lovely dinning experience! I took my boyfriend for his birthday and the food was great. You can tell a lot of care had gone into it. If I could eat like that everyday I would.
Wonderful food and great service, I would thoroughly recommend Smith & Wollensky.
I eat at a lot of very good restaurants including high end steak restaurants and this definitely sits ups there with those offering really great steaks.
Our visit was spoiled in that due to travel delays we left insufficient time for the planned leisurely pre theatre luncheon. Despite our lateness our table reservation was honoured and we were greeted warmly by the maitre d. Three of us had dinner on a Wednesday night at Smith & Wollensky London. I've been to S&W in the US so was looking forward to the meal. The front of house staff were lovely and the decor is Wall Street chic - think wood panels, deep green leather seats and frosted glass lamps. Amazing steak and wine - you don't have to pay 2 million dollars to eat here (but then you will miss out the opportunity to gain the billionaire wisdom)
The food at Smith and Wollensky is fantastic, great service I would recommend to all looking for great steak delivered with a little class
