I got my mom’s dog after she passed away, and she came covered in tumors. To contrast my experience with south vet clinic and explain the quality of care that I was expecting, the week prior I’d taken my Great Pyrenees to Hidalgo Vet and had him neutered; they were wonderful. The exam fee was $30, the rabies vaccine was $15, he was friendly and kind, introduced me to the staff, praised my pooch, and took the time to let my dog get used to him before attempting to handle him. NEEDS Entire New Intelligent Staff With Actual Hearts
We took our chihuahua in October of 2020 to board her for a few days. When we picked her up, her anus was expressed and she was walking different and ultimately ended up losing feeling in her legs. The staff completely denied any responsibility and claimed she was walking like that when they got her. She wasn’t. Our dog’s quality of life has declined. Other vets we have gone to told us that if there was a slipped disc, they may have been able to help her, but we were told nothing was wrong. I am so disappointed in this place... read more
This is the most DANGEROUS place to take your pet. I took my dog in when she was in labor (I know my dog well and knew with her breathing and slight contractions she had started labor) and no strong contractions were being produced after 12 hours. She was day 66 and most mini schnauzers give birth 61-63 days.
