I recently had to say goodbye to part of my family, pets are so much more than just animals. Dr. Borud and Karin were so amazing in every way possible. They went above and beyond any expectation I had for what it was going to be like to have to watch her eyes close for the last time. Thank you so much for making an extremely hard day a little more bearable. I will recommend everyone I know to use Southgate for all their pet needs.

Used to be a wonderful place to take your pets. Now all they do is shill the most expensive meds and some of their front desk staff need training in veterinary customer service. If a client calls in desperate need of assistance for their pet I suggest taking the phone call with an ounce of care and don’t make the person feel as if they’re bothering you. I called to see how much three shots would cost and their wellness exam would be, and was given a price. The consummate salesman they are, asked my wife who dropped our puppy off, if she would like to add a number of other tests to the bill and not let her know that it not part of the original quote. That being said the bill was over $100.00 more than originally quoted. Watch your wallets people, we will never go there again.
