If you have dealt with chronic pain for any length of time (10 years myself) you know the familiar pitfalls of finding the right Dr. The whole maybe they aren't a specialist and try as they might it's "by the book" and that's it. Zero time spent communicating with you as a patient and understanding the way your condition effects the totality of your life. The 2 minute "how are you doing, see you next month" and on and on. I saw Dr. Nathan Lamborn, and he was excellent. He took time to listen to me and discuss procedures and medications. I have a lot of pain in more than one area of my body, and I needed someone to really listen, give me at least ten minutes to explain all my ailments. But my previous doctor, at another clinic, was in and out of the room so quickly (literally a couple minutes), and I wasn't able to tell him everything that was going on.
