After a series of injuries, as well as structural issues and arthritis in my spine, I knew it was time to go back into physical therapy. I asked friends who they would recommend, and most were so far. I called Spooner as I'd been to them before and had a good experience. I talked to the front desk and told them my issues. I have had a wonderful experience at Spooner. I was hit by a car while walking in December and my general physician recommended I start physical therapy 3 times a week. My therapist at Spooner does an excellent job explaining the different things going on with my bones, joints, and muscles. I feel like I am in good hands and have seen much progress. Everyone there is very friendly and personable. They truly try to make you feel comfortable so you can work on getting better.
Made a bad situation WORSE!!! It saddens me to give a poor review because there are some good therapists here however due to negligence and hiring a very young (high school??) and inexperienced assistant I suffered at the hands of Spooner physical therapy and the level of intimidation that was used against me and the employees once the error was identified ..... I can not recommend anyone go to spooner or at least go at your own risk. I only wish I had known sooner but because there are SO MANY EXCELLENT REVIEWS the negat... read more
Most of the folks that work here seem to be good people. However, after going to several appointments I am choosing NOT to return here. As a former law enforcement officer, special forces member and body guard to a former joint chiefs of staff chairman, I carry a handgun with me 100% of the time. Upon entering for my appointment today I was asked if I was carrying my handgun today. I was told that I can't bring it into the building any longer.
