Excellent doctor. Caring, compassionate and has cared for our entire family for many years. Would never go to anyone else. His staff is wonderful and very nice.

He is fun, friendly, smart, and efficient! Staff is terrific and upbeat, and everyone really cares! When I had some concern after knee surgery, they got me in the same day. Great service all the way around! Even dealt with all the insurance stuff.

Dr. Berry did several procedures on my knee. Always trying to do the least invasive but get me healthy. I always felt like I had a say in my treatment and like my opinion was valued.

Do not use him! He was to fix my son’s ACL & meniscus during surgery but nothing was ever fixed. The swelling and pain never went away either, even with physical therapy. Now, 5 month’s later my son’s mri shows he still has a torn meniscus & no ACL at all. Now using a new surgeon to re-fix the mess Dr. Berry created.

Business response:

Difficult to address an anonymous post. There are other Dr Berry's who are orthopedic surgeons in the Dallas area. Dr. Robert Berry has been in practice for 14 years, is fellowship trained in sports medicine, a former NFL & X Games team physician. He has performed thousands of knee surgeries on elite and professional athletes and conducted ACL research. If you are a patient, we invite you to contact our office so we can better understand your concerns and address them specifically,

Apparently my previous review was not specific enough. I was treated by Dr. Berry - who has horrible bedside manner. After he performed surgery on me, he did not bother to speak to my husband or me. I was in severe pain for several days and NO ONE in his office would respond. I almost went to the ER. No one called to check on me. I would go ANYWHERE but here.

Business response:

Since you won't leave your name, we are unable to verify you are even a patient of the practice. Someone from the surgical team always speaks with family. It's is our policy that someone also follows up with patients after surgery, including the facility. If a patient is ever in pain, or has a need our surgeons are on call 24/7/365 and we have a 24 hours answering service as well which bypasses the office and goes directly to a surgeon. If you indeed are a patient, please call me. Dr. Berry

Called me fat, refused to do surgery and referred me to a weight loss surgeon. Yes I am over weight but not that much and wouldn’t even have the courage to tell me to my face. Made his PA do his dirty work! Worse physician ever!!!!

Business response:

In my professional career, I have never once called a patient fat. When a patient's height to weight ratio is dangerously high, performing elective surgery on a patient can put their health at risk, not to mention it may not improve their condition. As a surgeon it is my job to "First Do No Harm", which is the oath I took. I am sorry if this patient didn't feel she was treated with compassion. It is my goal to be compassionate, but keep my patients safe. Sometimes this means not operating.

On my last visit with Dr Berry, I was left alone for an hour. When I left the exam room, there was nobody to be found. I told the receptionist I was leaving since I had not seen anybody. I followed this up with a memo expressing my disappointment and I gave them a low rating. Their Ops mgr called and said they had an emergency but that was no excuse for my treatment and how they met to fix the problem and Dr Berry would call. I never got the call and they just deleted my portal account.

Business response:

It's hard to address an anonymous concern, however if this person would contact our office we can address their concerns so we may have the opportunity to improve. It is always our desire to apply the "Golden Rule" to care, if we fell short of this goal, we are sorry. -Dr. Berry
