The whole experience was a nightmare..I had lumbar fusion surgery and was not provided adequate pain relief..Today, a year later. I am in more pain than before i saw this doctor and my life is ruined..I have to use a cane and i walk hunched over like im 100 yrs old..If u need back help, go to Denver like i am doing now..Nuerosurgery on the western slope is horrendous..The doctors do the surgery and then pawn u off to their PA's who lack the knowledge to appropiately help u..
After my surgery, I was placed on minimal meds, much less than I was taking before my surgery so the meds were ineffective. I called his PA who told me to take extra of the meds and they would refill my Rx since I was going to run out early. The pharmacy needed doctor approval to fill the meds early and when I asked Ceola to call the pharmacy, I was grilled about running through my meds early. I explained that his PA gave me the directions to take the extra meds and after a 10 minute argument, he reluctantly approved a minim... read more
First of all we waited 45 minutes. Once in the room, he didn’t seem to care about our time or any questions we had. Tried several times to walk out of the room while we were still talking. It’s unfortunate that he is one of the only doctors in the area that do spinal work. I’d highly suggest going somewhere else. Not impressed at all.
Dr Crabtree is rude, condescending and has the bedside manner of a snake.
I feel bad for Dr. Woodward. He went all the way through med school so he must have wanted to help people at one time in his life. Something must have happened to change him and change his focus. I was a work comp patient and it was as if he only worked to save the insurance company money, not to be my doctor. He interrupted me, contradicted me, and stood at the door ready to leave when I attempted to ask questions. He refused to acknowledge that I have problems from the injury even when I paid to go to specialists on my own... read more
Waited over 2 hours my first appointment and had to reschedule for the following week. This physician has to have the worst bed side minor I have ever seen in any physician!
He doesn't list and he doesn't care about your pain your in. He said there's nothing wrong with you and I have the report showing there is all because it's workman comp.
This doctor is nice but does not listen to what his patient is telling him. It could be because my case is a workers comp case and he wants to keep his contract with the insurance company. I requested many times to be able to have time off to heal up but he refused to even write restrictions. If he would have listened, my stress fracture would have been healed and I would not still be in pain. I would not recommend this doctor of Cox medical group.
Horrible experience! Horrible Doctor!!!!
