Good cheap main meals would come again! You can really taste the difference of grilled vs non grilled meat :) Was nice to recieve a special anniversary bite at the end ♡ Staff were pleasant and friendly but slightly too attentive (never thought id have this problem but I guess we were one of the only people there) but it felt a bit awkward when there too many staff next to us..

Group of five friends out on what was a busy Sunday evening in Bath due to 1/2 marathons and St Patrick’s Day celebrations. The restaurant was calm and although not busy had a lovely feel. We all immediately felt at easy and the waiters all looked after us so very well. The food was delicious, between us we had beetroot tartare, fish and chips, a tortellini and two sorts of risotto. We did fully understand this was a restaurant with a piano bar. However I asked if we could have a seat in the other room to the pianist so we could at least talk to each other without shouting. He had no seats and said it would be at least 20mins to 30 mins. We sat about 4 seats away and although early on he played a few calmer songs it wasn’t long before he started we felt to enjoy himself playing much more upbeat and very loud tracks which meant his voice and the piano were competing at our expense. Wonderful service, seating straight away even thou we were early, fabulous waiter who was funny, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Cocktails were really good, amazing starters, the Hummus had to have been freshly made I’m sure it was so good and the smoky duck breast starter was fabulous, main courses, we had a variety, we’re all delicious and the deserts sublime, overall a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend and definitely go back
