Overall the units are comfortable. They are older and need some work, but the neighborhood feels safe. Lots of space and I love that I have an attached garage. My unit was not completely ready to move in, but this was the fault of the company that Winterwood purchased the property from. Though, I have been promised updates for my apartment the past two renewals and have not recieve them. Never can keep a maintenance person , take a long period to fix things , and everything inside the units need a upgrade .
The rent has steadily went up $100 a month for each lease year. That’s ridiculous considering how dated these apartments are. The only update done has been new windows. Maintenance people are hard to keep.
Lease agent is terrible. Maintenance is iffy. Everything in these apartments are outdated.
I been living in the same apartment since 2016 and no upgrades have been done . Still have kitchen appliances for 1990 and mine don’t even match . Take forever to get things fix . My toilet still not working but want to raise rent every year . It was nice when ball reality was over them but now winterwood is just terrible . I forgot they did new garage doors , just did the roof and windows outside .but nothing to make the inside better .
7 months with tarp on roof, only now being told it is in progress. 3 weeks (or more) for maintenance requests to be completed. 24 hours for emergency requests…emergencies are urgent. Communications are inconsistent and documents are filled with embarrassing errors. Property is beginning to deteriorate…cement steps look scary.
