Overall the units are comfortable. They are older and need some work, but the neighborhood feels safe. Lots of space and I love that I have an attached garage. My unit was not completely ready to move in, but this was the fault of the company that Winterwood purchased the property from. Though, I have been promised updates for my apartment the past two renewals and have not recieve them. Been here 5 yrs and it gets worse and worse every year with outdated appliances, poor management and constant rent increases to say the least
by far the WORST experience i’ve ever had renting from a company, they are non communicative, they’re receptionist is rude, you can’t reach anyone. We had to call code enforcement to get the heat fixed, we had a hole under the dishwasher and mice we couldn’t reach anyone, I have fees that are not correct. Their “ leasing agents “ were stealing and they didn’t notify the tenants just added charges. I wouldn’t recommend renting through them to a homeless person!
The sad thing is is I can’t leave zero stars because right now that’s absolutely what I would do. I’ve had a broken oven since the beginning of June. It is currently a week into November. It took seven months to have a shower fixed. My electricity is all kinds of wonky. And to put the cherry on top of this terrible sundae, I was attacked by two dogs that had been reported as problems before. Never can keep a maintenance person , take a long period to fix things , and everything inside the units need a upgrade .
The rent has steadily went up $100 a month for each lease year. That’s ridiculous considering how dated these apartments are. The only update done has been new windows. Maintenance people are hard to keep.
Lease agent is terrible. Maintenance is iffy. Everything in these apartments are outdated.
