The project went very well, despite its large size and the changes we made from the original plan. Jack, Mike, John and Johnny were all excellent and a pleasure to work with. excellent - high priced, but worth it for the quality and service stucco repair
Jack Wilson came to my home to estimate the cost of the things needing attention, focusing on the tub leak and rocking toilet which were my primary concerns. Jack explained why it would not be possible to give an exact estimate until the ceiling and wall were opened to allow thorough examination of the plumbing for the tub (removal and replacement of the tub would cost substantially more than repair of the existing one) He sent John out promptly to begin the work we discussed, and was very good about keeping in touch as the ... read more
Jack Wilson and Stellar were great to work with. My husband and I were taken by another contractor that we had signed a contract with for the above services. The original contractor walked away with our money half way through the job. We contacted Stellar to get a quote to finish the kitchen and repair the poor work done by the original contractor. They didn?t do the painting. I would definitely use their services in the future too. I used the services of Stellar Painting & Remodeling in June for complete bathroom remodeling. They tore out the shower and tiles. They also did some drywall work with new tiles, new cabinets and everything else.
We'd found some loose tiles in our master bath shower, and while this room wasn't next on our remodel list, we decided to do the whole thing at once. My initial estimate of what we'd spend was wrong in short order as I checked off several more option boxes than first planned. Stellar did an excellent job from the beginning to the end of the project. As always, this is an excellent company that I would recomment with people that care about the finished product. Stellar added two bedrooms, an office and a full bathroom to our home. They were also responsible for all interior painting, making sure that the paint on the addition matched the paint in the rest of the space.
Miller, who is the president, did the estimate and he was here almost 2 hours assessing the job that needed to be done. The carpenter, Nelson, was a craftsman in his carpentry. Then they arrived yesterday to paint at 7:00a.m. and they were here until almost 5:00p.m. and they came back today and finished about 2:00p.m. They cleaned up and even used a vacuum in the cleanup. $1200 of that price was for carpentry work and siding repair. Overall, we are thoroughly impressed with the professionalism Stellar showed. We had a few minor issues during the job, and when I brought these to the attention of the company, the president, Guy, devoted a great deal of on-site time to our project. Guy's involvement was crucial to the eventual success of the project and he deserves a lot of credit for caring so much about customer service and quality work.
