Stellar Painting did a fantastic job on our house! We were referred to Stellar by a friend after we got some outrageous quotes by a couple of other paint companies. The work that the crew from Stellar Painting did was nothing short of spectacular. From the time we had our first walk through with Guy, to the pre meeting where we went through our responsibilities (moving furniture, art, etc.), to the actual painting, the crew Stellar was very professional, courteous, and meticulous in their work. Overall the projects went very well. The service was excellent and the team was very flexible in my ever-changing requirements. Cabinet installation was great and tiling was very professional. We worked based on time and materials, so any changes were easily accommodated. I also like that Jack was open to allowing me to source my own materials or help me provide suppliers when needed. Contacted via the Angie's List website and was contacted within a day to discuss my needs. Was then contacted by Jack Wilson to set up an appointment to come by and discuss details. Jack was very professional, listened to my wants and needs and had great ideas and examples of what they would be able to do and stories of his past experience. Great - Jack Wilson of Stellar Remodeling worked with us closely to provide a detailed estimates (we went through 4 revisions) before we started the work. (Initially our eyes were bigger than our wallet). Excellent. We did the project in two phases. We painted the exterior first, then came back and painted the interior as part of a remodel. First stage was the estimate. Guy Miller came and gave us a detailed estimate for both interior and exterior. For the exterior, I think it is important to note that other estimates we received suggested major damage to our siding, recommending expensive replacement options. Very Well :) We had our entire house painted before we moved in. They did a great job. There were some spots that were hard to see, depending on time of day/light. Once I mentioned it to the crew lead, they came over and touched them up, no problem. They even touched up the stairs...which had new carpet installed after the paint. The new carpet was shorter than the carpet that was in when they painted. They noticed that and quickly touched that up while they were here. Definitely recommend!!
Their quote was very detailed and specific as to exactly what the work would be. They were very accommodating in helping us choose a paint color. We were given sample paints. Painting a small section truly helps in getting the right color. Then the carpentry work was done, to replace part of our siding, the wood blocks by the roof, and gaps by the chimney that were sealed.
