This restaurant, as noted previously, has always been our go to place. Given our last experience it was only fair to see if the years of going there and having the best service and food if it was a fluke things were off. To save any impatient readers I can report this was an excellent experience and everything was spot on. The dishes included filet minion, sea scallops, shrimp and grits, ribs, and a very big burger. First time at their new location. The place is amazing, excellent food and service.
The menu has also changed with their new location.
Stone Creek's new location is so much better than their old location in downtown Montgomery. They have more room, bar is larger and better, and their private rooms are on the same floor with a lot of privacy. On negative side is their new forks are hard to hold to cut meat. Have been there twice since the new opening and both occasions have been outstanding. Plan to return in a couple of weeks.
The food quality was good. Service was slow. The chicken with risotto portion was tasty but the portion was small. Very small piece of chicken.
Noisey! Staff not trained well
Our waiter was great, it took longer than usual for the meals to arrive. It was Easter Sunday and they were busy. We were busy talking and the time flew by. Beautiful restaurant, the new location is great.
