We dined out for the first time in a year. We came with our neighbor because we had all reached the 2week point after our Covid vaccinations!
I ordered grilled salmon off the menu with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Excellent. Another diner was happy with perfectly plated scallops on a bed of risotto. A rib eye order was pronounced chewy but quickly replaced with a perfectly done filet mignon. Our fourth enjoyed the barbecued ribs. Great table in a corner where we could quietly converse.
Wife and I both had dinner that had chicken in it. Both of them were crispy and over cooked. I had one piece I couldn't cut with a knife. We sat at the bar and the service was great as were the beverages. No one asked how over dinner was. May try again for a light bite and see waht happens.
