When we first arrived, we were going to be seated next to the kitchen which was very noisy. As it was a birthday party for an 85 year old, we asked to be moved to a quieter section, which they did graciously. Our server was great and very efficient and the food was delicious!!!
We reserved a table for seven and were seated promptly. The food was very good, although service was a tad bit slow. While our server was very congenial and competent, I believe she had another large table that commanded quite a bit of her attention. House chardonnay was delightful and moderately priced. Two diners had the scallops and were extremely happy. Overall a very good experience.
Stone Creek Montgomery hasn't been the same since they moved to new location. We were a table of four and two of us had very disappointing meals. One of our party members told the server she needed to avoid garlic because of a sensitivity. He suggested the squash Wellington which was served with a sauce very heavy in garlic. He obviously should have checked with the chef. Just not special anymore and this will be our last visit.
