We got 3 different appetizers and 2 house salads. Good to experience the different variety.
Everything was better than average except the service. I couldn't tell if the waitress was over taxed or just not into it. In the past, the service has been wonderful. I'm hoping this was an isolated incident.
Wanted a nice place to take an out-of-town guest before seeing a movie, so selected this location. Lunch was great, service was great and prices were very reasonable for level of service and quality of food. We even stuck around after lunch at the bar for a glass of wine so we could keep talking. Great ambience!
The only disappointment was that we had reservations and still had to wait nearly 25 minutes before being seated.
My wife, three children and I enjoyed a good meal at Stone Creek. The location is up scale, but away from the city. Everyone enjoyed their food, but none more than I. I started with ahi tuna and blue cheese wedge. Enjoyed a juicy filet mignon and finished with a warm, raisin/cranberry cobbler to die for. We will return.
We dine here at least a couple of times a month, if not more often. Service is always great. We love the petite filets - always tender and cooked perfectly to order. Rivals any 5-star steakhouse in town.
Undercooked my wife's steak, and then of course tried to quickly fix it, which means burning it a bit. They gave us a free desert to make up for it. They serve luke-warm tap water which is nice to have a carafe on the table, but when it ran dry nobody noticed. The bread is to die for, craving it right now. We had a reservation at 6:30 for 12 and were seated around 7:05. We did receive 3 free appetizers which was much appreciated. The waitress had difficulty with our special requests which caused her additional steps back to the kitchen. When our food arrived, several wait staff delivered.
This was my first dining experience at Stone Creek. It was a pleasant surprise. The foold was very good but the waitress was outstanding! She was friendly, funny, attentive, informative, REAL.
