Would like to give 5 stars but we were seated near kitchen opening (no door) and it was loud at times with kitchen and patrons. Other than that, the food was excellent, service was very good, and our experience was wonderful.
Overall, we enjoyed the ambiance and service. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and seemed to have personally tried all the foods we inquired about. The dinner started with drinks and bread. The oil was good, but a bit overpowering. A selection of oil would be nicr. Next were salads. The lettuce didn't seem crisp and fresh and was browning on certain pieces. We did however eat the whole portion. The Cesar was a bit on the dry side. The entreés were pleasant and well prepared. Was impressed when the restaurant called me to confirm the reservation and immediately asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. It made me feel special that they cared enough to ask. We also had a hand signed birthday card at our table. It was all very special for my 78 year old mother. Great food, service, comfortable setting, and a special evening for all.
