We frequently dine at Stone Creek in Plainfield and we're never disappointed. The food and service are always excellent. If you want to have a wonderful dining experience, go to Stone Creek. Their new location is easier to find parking and since it's all on one level, it's more convenient for diners and staff.

Food was great. Service was a little slow. Prices have increased a little too much.
Service was very good and fast she was very knowledgeable on the foods listed on the menu. Food was very good steaks were cooked the way they were ordered. Appetizers were also good. Shrimp cocktail and calamari ( first time trying it) was recommended by our waitress overall it was a very good experience.

Made a reservation, however we had a long wait as the Hostess had problems and must of lost our reservation. They did comp an appetizer. The server Geri was great and did her best to make the dining experience good. The food and bar items in delivery were out of sync. The food was not steaming hot, might of been sitting for a bit, however very tasty.
We’ve been to other locations but this was by far the best! The bartenders were great and so was our server. Food was great!

Ordered from the devour menu. Salad was crisp and fresh. Filet with asparagus and mashed potatoes was magnificent. Excellent service and atmosphere.

The new area is more open and welcoming than the previous location. One of our steaks and the table next to us was undercooked - ordered well done and the came back more medium well. But they quickly refired the steak (although everyone else was done by the time it came back), and it was to the level it should be at that time. We did have dessert, which was great, so you may have to try the peanut butter pie!!
The new location was very comfortable and easier to access. The hosts were very disorganized. We had made reservations, and it was as if the hosts did not even review what was going to happen. Reservations are not to just to request a table at a certain time, but also to allow a restaurant to prepare for the day. Having wait staff and the tables ready to accommodate their guests. The food and service were good.
