The food here is great. Four stars on this visit because we received stale bread saturated in oil, which is a huge departure from our usual experience. The entrees were exceptional. We were seated near the kitchen, so this experience was very loud with the sound of clanging dishes and staff. While we were sitting, some staff moved a table away that was next to us, so we got the noise of the kitchen on one side, and a view of debris-littered space where the table had been on the other side. The food and service were excellent. Our server, Sarah, was very attentive and helpful. The miso-salmon I had was cooked to perfection and all the accompaniments with it were fantastic. My friend had the campfire fettuccine and said it was delicious. We love the atmosphere at the Plainfield Stone Creek and have definitely decided it will be one of our go-to restaurants.
